Description: Norco Vista is a program designed for students who have failed Language Arts and/or History classes in the past. Alternative teaching methods and a priority on redirecting students toward graduation is the program’s goal. Smaller class size, more one-on-one instruction from teachers, fundamental skills review and credit recovery are all available. These classes are college prep, appear the same on high school transcripts and are taught at the same material as traditional History and Language Arts classes. Students are encouraged to sign up as early as possible for entry into the program as a junior as spaces are limited. Advisor(s): Mr. Robinson in R-6. Meetings: Student’s have Language Arts and History in Norco Vista. Who may participate: Juniors and seniors who have failed at least one semester of a Language Arts or History class. Space is limited and students must sign a contract.
