Welcome to Norco High School! Here are a few things to bring with you on the day you enroll your child at the Registrar’s Office.
**All parents/guardians must bring a current photo ID (passport, driver’s license, or employee ID).
1. Birth Certificate (may substitute adoption papers, passport, or court orders).
2. Immunization Records
Should include all of the following, no exceptions:
A. TB Skin Test- (Note- If the student is entering a Riverside County School for the first time, this test must have been given within the last 15 months). When a student has a tuberculosis test, it must be “read” by the doctor/nurse two days later and have negative results; if the results are positive, student must have an X-ray with negative results. The X-ray result must be signed by the Radiologist and have the doctor’s signature. The date given and read as well as the results (positive or negative) should be on the immunization card or medical document.
B. Three Polio and 3 DPT/TD: These shots were given when your child was a baby, please bring all baby immunization records.
C. Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR)
D. Chicken Pox Vaccine (Varicella)-All students new to California and over the age of 12, must have their Varicella vaccine.
** Please contact your family physician if any of these immunizations are missing.
3. Unofficial Transcript
Must have all previous high school classes/grades/credits listed and withdrawal grades (classes/grades that the student is taking during the present semester).
4. Gas, Water or Electric Bill – The parents/guardian’s name and address should be on the bill.
5. Home Language Assessment- Students with a language other than English must take a home language survey sheet along in with their registration packet. Student must have his/her language tested at the Language Assessment Center, 300 Buena Vista Ave. Corona. Must take proof of all immunizations to the testing.
6. IEP Copy- (For students in Special Education classes) Bring the most recent copy of your child’s IEP. If you have misplaced yours, you may get a copy from the previous school or have them fax it to us using the number above.
7. Expelled Student-Please inform the registrar’s personnel if your child has ever been expelled from any former school. Please bring a copy of the re-admittance letter that was issued by the school district where the expulsion occurred. If you have not been readmitted yet, call Pupil Services at (951) 736-5178.
**Any false, misleading, or deliberate omission of information is used to establish residency and secure registration in the District, shall be considered null and void.
